Welcome to the Academy of Math, Science, Robotics & Entrepreneurship. We are a nonprofit organization (501c pending) and our goal is to build a network of 100 2nd – 12th grade students who are exceptional at Math, Science & Technology and who will down the road use these skills to invent solutions and create companies.

We will achieve goal of helping to create a new generation of leaders by strengthening Math, Science, Technology & Entrepreneurial skills of students in Dekalb county in a fun and exciting way. We intend to meet your children where they are academically, help them to complete their homework assignments, reinforce the concepts they learn in school, strengthen their Math, Reading & Science skills and make them experts in technology. We do this by exposing them to Lego Engineering, by showing them how the internet works, by teaching them what they need to know to start an online business, to create a webpresence and to market their products or services online.

Math & Robotics Club – $40 monthly Meets each Saturday 2hrs. 10am – noon

This is an introductory course.  It is an exposure to robotics.  Children decide what they want to build and then using language and literacy skills, students follow the easy to use LEGO software program that guides them through a set of onscreen building instructions. After the model robot is built and connected to the computer, students are shown how to write simple programs by dragging and placing pictures on the computer screen. Students then run the and watch as the motors and sensors on their model animate their creations. We then challenge students to extend their programs and models using their own ideas or other programming techniques taught.
